The brake lock mechanisms ride atop the platform fingers at the front. This makes adjusting the brakes where I want them a bit difficult. Make them just a little bit snug and the locks won't rise over the fingers without difficulty. There are two rectangular 'washers' that go with the platform. They have square corners on one long side and rounded corners on the other long side, with a single hole in the center. Looking at the installation drawings, it seems to imply these go at the rear of the platform (not clear exactly where). But I've seen some attach them across the fingers at the front of the platform (which would make the brake lock even more difficult to latch). How are these latches (and washers/spacers) supposed to ride relative to those front platform protrusions?
