Who would carry steel bushing stock that is 5/8" (.625") ID and has 3/4" (or closer .747") OD  and a length of 3/4" - 13/16" (or .750" - .8125") or a tube 4 inches long and I can cut to fit.
and 5/8" pins app. 2 " long... 1 1/2" from shoulder to cotter pin hole.

Working on an old NH wagon steering assembly and the bushings didn't seem to have rusted, nor had the pins, considering they had no grease fittings on them.  Probably will weld the wear area on the pins and then turn them down to fit new bushings. Tia, JC

My first choice would be McMaster-Carr.  If they don't have it, you might find it at MSC, Enco, or even grainger...

McMaster should have the steel... but also brass and oil impregnated bronze... Might consider that for extra lube if it will handle the LOAD ?

Thanks T-bone, DD and Steve, I had looked on the web for steel bushings and all I seem to get was high priced specialty's...
Looked at NH parts on line through Messicks... http://www.messicks.com/nh/67117

Item number 6 BUSHING
72020 $38.30 3-7 business days requires 4
Looked for my grainger book and couldn't find it... looked at grainger on line and didn't find what I was looking for, Then called various dealers... and none had what I wanted, called Fastenal and found they have changed their sales back in March and need accounts now through them to buy. Finally called this place, they have had stuff that got me going before. http://www.ardenspecialty.com and he has some pins and bushings for me to look at tomorrow.
Steve, Your links are almost exactly what I have been looking for. If Arden doesn't have what I need, I will be going to McMasters. Thanks much fellas.

They sell rail car wheels.Shocked

One time at my old job, we were looking at the white board where someone had written on it with permanent marker.  Someone joked that McMaster Carr probably sold "Permanent Marker Remover for Whiteboards".  We looked it up, THEY DO!!!LOLLOLLOL

Ted, you can go in and set up an account, but now you have to buy a bag of bolts, nuts or what ever, no longer 5 of these three of that or whatever... suppose to stop the time wasted by the sales people dealing with us small fries, they want big business to shop from them.
Well, today I picked up the sleeves and pins. sleeves were split, which was alright with me, had to cut a little more out of the split to press into the hole, then ran a reamer through them to fit the pins and good to go now. Took the slop out of the steering linkage and pole attachment, now to set the toe in on the wagon so it will be good to go 60 down the road. LOL

Fastenal has been that way for a long time here, it's been a couple of years since the one in Pittsburgh told me I had to buy in lots of 100

Remember the old folks use to say "going to beat sixty", as in working fast, or 'He was sweating to beat sixty'... or "You'll have to go like 60 to get it done"... or  "he will have to run like 60 if he is going to finish before supper time/ get the field all cut down ... etc."
Well Steve, I sure hope for all the work of tightening up all the wear in that wagon that it will trail at any speed you want without seeing it fish tailing and swerving taking place in the rear view mirrors. Approve Yup, hopefully see it trailing straight as an arrow while yur buzzin along...   on all 8 cylinders. LOL
