I saw some pictures of British B's with 3 point from the factory, IIRC the caption said that the English market preferred the 3 point while the US market wanted the standard setup.
We must have been nuts! What year B's had the 3 point system? Anyone have detailed pictures?

Maybe it was an add-on option. I have heard that tractor manufacturers could not build their machines with a standard 3-point for several years because Ferguson had it patented. Any truth to that? Personally, I would have liked for a slightly safer version of the snap-coupler system to have been the standard implement mount in stead of the 3-point. I have cursed those ungainly, hard to align rascals for many years. Always kept a 4 x 4 about 6' long around most of the implements to use as a pry bar to line them up.

I'll have to source the pictures again, it was neat looking.
Most of my stuff is small and easy to move. The bigger stuff the 6060 has telescoping arms to help out.

DREAM is right about Ferguson having the patents sown up, hence why there are some weird set-ups about from that era.
I think the 3 pt was fitted from 51 to 55 as an option (I stand to be corrected). Talk to Dave and Mark Everett, they're the experts on English B's. All the chains and arms swinging about certainly don't do anything for the looks of the B, and then the English fitted a Perkins P3 diesel engine, that really made for an ugly tractor!!

That does look pretty cool! I wouldn't mind having one at all. The Monroe-matic seat is pretty different too. A B diesel would be really neat. I was thinking about how I could rig up a diesel on the leftover C parts I have laying around.
