Hey guys does anyone have pics of their I&T manual for a series 4 D17 brake adjustment or entire brake section. My manual doesn’t show series 4 and shows the old drum style like the wd and early d17. Even pics from a 170 manual would work if someone has them available. Brakes were seized with mouse nest and years of mice urine (potent acids) and got them free and it’s stopping well but just want to check any possible adjustments before I pull the tires and axle housings. I’m thinking it may be good as they hold on a 15 degree slope but if there is anymore adjustment I would like to experiment.
Need to fix rims and it’s gonna get partially restored and painted this fall and winter so most will come off anyway. In the meantime I’m having a blast with this new found power and size compared to my b and c machines.

The brake is adjusted by disconnection the rad going to the pedal and turning it in to tighten the brakes

You want 2 inches of pedal travel, that is the proper adjustment setting
