I just seen on the UK Ebay site an allis "B" adjustable bow front axil, its the first that I have ever seen, are they common in the U.S ? i tried to copy the link but was unsucessful

That was the original "adjustable front end" the first couple years, prior to the beam / tube design.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
