Blain's Farm and Fleet opened a new store in a closed Kmart building in Jackson Mi. which is closer to me than Rural King in Angola Indiana. I have not scouted out the actual store just looked at their website. Says their home is Janesville Wisconsin. Any of you fellers have experience with Blain's? I see on their website Rural King has them beat on Round Baler net Wrap price!

We have a Blain's Farm and Fleet it is the store that gets most of my money. There is no real competition here. They have a wide range of products and the prices are hard to beat. I may find better prices on a few items but I would have to drive 40 miles. As everyone knows there is a cost to that and I simply don't have time for that either. My one complaint is they do run out of stuff occasionally.
I guess I would say I like Farm and Fleet and would be disappointed if they closed.

Our Farm and Barn is the worst store I have ever shopped in as far customer service goes. The employees go out of their way to avoid you. There are two gals in the automotive part that I will say know their stuff, the rest should just stay home. I do go there only if I know just what I need to buy. I wish we had a Fleet Farm instead! Good luck!

I've been in a Blaine's, but there isn't one close. Mills Fleet Farm is sort of close. Can't really see a difference between them and Blaine's.

The one we have has that mentality that if they dont sell enough of an item they don't stock it well if they had more of them on the shelf they would sell more. Farm and fleet is closer but we have fleet farms just a little further away, they are better stores.

The old saying that you can't sell from an empty wagon is true! That is what I like about Rural King! I will keep going back there.

Rural King has the best prices and LOTS more products than our stupid Farm & Fleet.
I agree with mdm1, Blaine's SUCKS!
When I'm up here at the farm, the distance to either Blaine's Farm & Fleet or the Fleet Farm in Winona, MN is about the same.  I'd rather go to Fleet Farm as they have a LOT more products, especially for farming, than Farm & Barn....
If there were a Rural King, I'd DEFINITELY go there.  They beat everyone's prices!!

Quite guys, Rural King will hear ya and then you know what happens. Also along the lines of famous last words, and knock on wood.

I myself only have a fleet Farm near by. They seem ok.
