Having sunday breakfast, with Mom, this morning, Biscuits and strawberries.  Biscuits tasted like dirt!  Asked her what changed?  She says its the same old Bisquick mix, brand new box!  After chokin down the last halfa biscuit, I walked over to the cabinet, and pulled out the box, Bisquick PROTEIN mix.  Sh!t sticks to yer throat so good, it took a halfa glass of milk, to unstick the last piece, in the back of my throat.  I guess I'm a gonna have to go to the store, and buy her a box of the right stuff!  We was both laughin, it kinda reminded me of this scene...Wink

Thanks for the morning chuckle. Haven't seen "the boys" for a long time; always a childhood favorite. Hope you get some better biscuits soon.

Since we all moved close together my mama makes breakfast on Sundays. Boy howdy, talk about making a man sorry for the duration of a day.

Well Tyler, you don't have to eat the whole pan full of them for breakfast. Leave some for the rest of the family. LOL Nothing much better than good hot home made biscuits.

Hubert, it's not the whole pan of biscuits that makes you sorry. It's the plate full of bacon and sausage, and the few pancakes, and the eggs and gravy........

Wink Maybe the added protein goes down better if your a regular eater of "green food" the stuff I always figured the livestock should eat so I could eat the cow, pig, and chicken.
