A while back I posted a topic about my grandpa telling me about these 2' header extensions for All-Crop 60s, giving them a 7' swath. He had one, his neighbor had one, he said most everyone in NW OK had one! A few weeks ago another guy in NW OK told me about them. Someone on here suggested it was a locally made aftermarket product. Which it could be. Just today another guy who grew up 35 miles NW of Salina, Kansas said he saw them out there. All 3 men described them in just the same way. Remove the left side of the header, add the extension, extend the sickle, and add a small auger to move the cut crop to the main canvas.
However, much like bigfoot, I hear these stories but I've never seen one. I believe them, because the descriptions are so identical, but I really want to find one. Has anyone ever heard of these?? Anyone have one or have a pic? Thanks!

when I watched one of your vids, I saw the combine only taking a 1/2 swath then, why would you wanna add more width if yer not gonna use what you have now?

It'd be good for row crops, Shameless, like Milo and beans, where you don't take in as much crop.

I may hafta gits my old #60 going again, so I can combine between my aronia bushes, and sell my big combines!
I think all it needs is a new set of canvas's and sum grease!

Shameless will your combine pick up the trash left by those green things? You could probably make more profit this year then ever just waiting and going over your field for a second harvest after the renter leaves....

I had a 90 with an extension. Was factory, I'm pretty sure the book listed it. Guess a 60 with one would be unique.

Shameless, depends on which 60 you have. If it's a late 60 with the crossauger at the bottom of the bin, it holds 18 bushels. If it is the earlier style that just has the slope at the bottom, it's a little less.
![]() Lonn, 90s and SP-100s had optional 3' extensions for use in headed crops. They aren't very common around here, but before I knew they were rare a SP-100 with one went to an auction and the scrapper got it, along with too much other A-C stuff, including a WC with a pressed steel differential. However, there is another SP-100 just down the road from me with an extension, but the owner won't let me cross the fence to even look at the combine, nor will he sell it ![]() Edited by CrestonM - 10 Jun 2016 at 10:07am |

Creston I need to go and buy that sp100 for ya. I've gotten the line "NOT FOR SALE" and then next thing you know they sold it for less. maybe I swoop in there and buy it for ya. You can hide in the truck while we load it! Then wave at him on the way out the gate!

Dan...I guess I could go buy a street sweeper, and run the vacuum over the fields! I should do this anyway....a couple years ago I sat down and using figgers found on the web of how uch grain loss there is in a square foot per how any feet....well it was time consuming...but gots it figgered out on an 8 mile stretch of highway past my place as there is gobs of grain laying along side the road every year at harvest time...grain that either blows out of the trucks going to the elevators or maybe dribbles out of the grain trailers? anyways...it figgered out to be about 2= 800 bu semi loads just laying along side the highway! that's ALOT! and after screening the grain, I could have a lot of gravel for y driveway too!

That might work, Caleb! Lol! However, what about all the missing parts? Most everything has been robbed off, making it just a shell of a combine.
