Andy's 7030 sure is sharp but I never liked the maroon lower color. I probably would go with the D series, especially when they first came out, such a step up from the WD's and other letters. For a modern tractor, it's hard to beat the 8000 series for again being ahead of their time. Really, I like them all!

6000 or 8000 including the 4W's. The WD's have to be the worst it's like they ran out of sheet metal.

I like the look of the D serries if you ask me the 100 serries where made to look like big boxes I like the rounded looked just looked like it has more style to me. The boxy ones look like they where designed to be easier to stamp out in mass production.

Dakota Dave, I fully agree. While you all know I really love the B, to me, the tricycle C is the best looking tractor Allis Chalmers made.

There are a lot of good choices. I'm a fan of the D21, I also like the 190XT's, and I will freely admit part of the reason my 7000 came home was looks alone. I've always liked this style Allis, this one needed to be brought back to looking good like it should;

Went to work for a farmer when I was in college and he traded for a used D21 II. Biggest Dad had at the time was a 180 diesel. Man I loved running that D21. Was a great way to make money for college expenses !!!

D21's are just so cool! I had never seen one until I joined this sight, and still haven't seen one in person.
I like the black belly 7000's, the maroon ones look "cheap" to me, like here we primed the metal, but not gonna paint it. The cabs of the 8000's are nicer, but I like the overall appearance of the 7s more. Still, going to go with D21 for just coolness! |

Obviously my D15! For me I like the D series but the D21 is my favorite. It has look to it that says "I'll mess you up" in my mind.
And that sound, oh that sound.. |

I'm a big fan of the 17IV. But the best looking of all has to be an 8070 FWA with dual 42s. They just look mean.

When I was a kid the 200 was tough to beat for looks as were all the 100 and 200 series. I'm still no big fan of the D21 in looks. To me it looks too IHish. The maroon bellies had to grow on me. Kinda like how the 8000 series was ugly to me with the slant back grill but they grew on me too. I really liked the black bellies 7000 series all decked out with stadium lights and duals.

You guys took the words right out of my mouth! LOL I always loved the looks of the D-21 just because it had its own look, no other AC looked like it, plus it just looks tough! Third choice would be D17-D19 and #4 for me would be a WD45 wf propane, idk why just always thought they looked neat. |

My favorites in order
#1 D17 series IV #2 8000 series w/FWA #3 7000 series (OPEN STATION ONLY) #3 190 XT series III #4 and #5 are a draw D21 & 220 Both are sexy hot rods. Man the 7000 series cab was the quietest in the country I think it had the most square inches of glass. But it had the worst door to get in and out of and it was UGLY. |

Agree! Hmm we have a nose piece and a piece to go over the motor no one will notice the ledge on the front. Honestly the C had better curves. |

The B and C were designed with styled sheet metal. The WC started unstyled and then styled sheet metal was tossed on. I still like the looks though. Better looking than a Deere A or an old M IMO.
