I finally, FINALLY got time to put into the 7G, had ruptured a steering oil hose and yes one of the long ones from the pump that I should have replaced with the trans out but got in a hurry and they looked somewhat OK.
As I had to pull all the fuel and the oil feed lines to the injection pump I went ahead and replaced those aging beauties as well. $396 later and some well rehearsed curse words the old lines are gone and new on, tried it out and very smooth still even after sitting for over two months although with the wet conditions with the quick thaw we just had I almost got the old girl stuck! |
