I have a 7112 Landlord and the bearings out on the gear box. Where can I get a book to show how to take apart and repair? Any help would be appreciated. Don

It's the one that the drive shaft goes into. It runs the hydro on one side and the pto on the other side.

Thanks Mikez, We can wait to see if a book shows up. You say pricey, can we still get the parts? It is a great tractor.

We need to make a sticky in this "garden tractor" forum for the link to Simplicity manuals.
Simplicity has parts and operators manuals available for free download. Enter your mfr # (on the silver ID tag, will begin with either "990xxx" or "169xxxx") and from there you can download the manuals. The repair/service manuals are not online.
