Got the old K-2 cleaned up and ready to go in a couple of weeks, I booked 1500 bushel of beans last Friday, How does the bean crop look in the mid-west? A lot better than corn I hope.

Beans are short on the hills , taller and greener in the bottoms . My guess , and this varies from farm to farm is under to way under 40 on hills ..over 50 in the valleys . Should be rolling next week , at least on the hills .. S W Wisconsin

We're about 2 weeks away yet in east-central Illinois.
Corn is coming out of the field now.

They are combining beans here in Central Wisconsin. We are not yet as we have green spots still. Yields look to be typical for this area!

My beans are just starting to turn. I usually get to combining beans around October 19th every year for some reason. My beans look good but so do the weeds as I couldn't spray them with liberty link as they were stressed from the heat or drought or by the time they weren't stressed they were blooming. I think if I can run them through the ole F2 Ill be OK.

corn around here is averaging about 80bpa, no drought but got real dry when it tasseled. Beans fared better most of us will have 40+bpa on dry land.
