When dad purchased this machine from a farmer, not dealer/auction, we acquired a true short-fingered round tipped chaffer(TOP?) and a completly non-adjustable 3/8 inch round holed seive?? I neglected to write down the part # off of the seive today, but would it be worth installing in our machine for beans?? Our beans look to yield the best that dad claims he has seen in 30 years. N/Central IND. Thanks

I just bought a Gleaner F2 two years ago and tracked down the sieve your talking about that replaces the bottom adjustable sieves, my experience it does make a difference the grain is a cleaner and makes it a lot quicker to clean the sieve if gets plug with trash, its a 50/50 shot. its not that hard to change put in.
![]() This is a link of a video on youtube of it running in very very tall beans so running a little slow in some spots, but did a real good job, running a bottom bean sieve

Jason, THANK you VERY much for your post and video!! We run a 15' table but our beans will be about 4' tall. Are those over/size drive tires? Ours has I believe 26L drives? Think I might get out to the farm tomorrow and change that chaffer out.

Now I am confused. Dad thinks the round hole goes in the bottom of shoe, but i told him it belongs on the top. Can someone verify please? Thanks

Round hole is the sieve. Goes on the bottom. Chaffer is adjustable and goes on top.

Hi freed, if you don't get an answer I will check my manual tomorrow if you like. Do you have an operator manual? I would be even more lost than I am now.

That's me. The tip he gave for my stone door did the trick, please thank him. Your crops looked great then. What a difference a few miles makes.
