Was having Engine Fan(Air operated) issues, would Stay on, fail to disengage.  Then would partially disengage and the Bypass controls would not function.  Looked to all the controls and a air solenoid that is easily changed where thought had it, then repeated again.  Finally Caught the Hub seals in Failure, when disengaged the air to release would leak out past the Clutch Faces.

Only a Slight Blood Letting during the wrestling match, Hub is over 45 lbs, hangs of four 1.2" fasteners, Horton and common.

Had to use a Sling from over top to pull it out of engine area,  almost two hours of Joy!

Used to easily source kits for rebuild, or exchange units readily available. Still so?

I have a "Huber" reversing fan on the 11-B tractor needing service, but it's mechanical and frozen in place. No parts available for those any longer I've found.

Reman thru Horton still prominent so is on the way.  Kit was over $400, complete assembly with Warranty $650, Exch.  Need a at least 20t Shop press and three Specialty tools for the Horton series, Not worth the hassle.

Think the last one I rebuilt was about $70.00 for the kit which included seals, bearings, and retaining rings. Can't remember but think the friction surfaces were there also and it was an OEM Horton kit. That was for a 3406 B, or C Caterpillar engine but a Cummins NTC-400 was near the same price. Never have worked on anything newer.
