Was at a local auction today and picked up a B-110 with mower deck. Doesn't run but engine is free and probably only needs minor work. Is there anything I need to look for or watch out for? It came from bowling green and was used at a car dealer ship for years, and was replaced and put in the owners basement until now. The carburetor was changed at one time and we've ordered a new one.

Bowing Green, MO? If the new carb is one of the new knock-offs from eBay the air cleaner may not fit correctly. You can get the parts to make the original like-new for less than the Chinese carb. Any pictures of this B-110? They are a good tractor. I have two of them.

I can't see his picture but should be crankshaft sticking out through the grille. Pulley mounts to that shaft to drive front mount implements-mainly snowblower. Probably only needs a set of points to get her back running as long as it has good compression. The old B&S is a bulletproof engine. Matches the rest of the machine. New points, clean carb, and fresh gas should have her barking again.

Oh yea the picture disappeared. No it wasn't the crank shaft. It was a side view picture and looked like a bracket of some sort. I just never see anything like that before.
