I have a b riveted front wheels. One is in very poor shape. How hard are these to find? What are they typically selling for? I'm going to attempt a repair but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I picked up a complete non-adjustable B front end with riveted rims in nice shape from a forum member for $100 a couple years back. I don't think they're worth too much, especially since there are quite a few out there (12,000 tractors or so, maybe? I think Glenn said they were used from the end of '38 halfway through '39) and the bolt on wheels are easier to deal with.
Is the whole wheel bad or just the rim?

Tony Carbaugh has rims that should work. Although I haven't personally tried them, I bet they would be good. He says they're a "perfect fit." I've never measure my rims - I wonder if there is a size difference between the riveted and 5-bolt, and even the cast wheels? Scroll down toward the bottom "3x15 Blank." Some forum member might have a used wheel for the same or less money, but again I'm not sure on value.

Grind the rivets off that hold the center to the rim (NOT the ones holding the hub to the center!) and knock the old rim off. Put the center in one of Tony's rims and re-rivet, or just spot weld them in place. Voila' good as new.... Pretty easy fix.

Thanks guys. Glenn, that is what I'll have to do if I can't find a good used one. This one is shot.
