Topic: B C WD Oil Filter QuestionPosted: 02 May 2012 at 1:22pm |

Time to change oil in some of my tractors - had previously used WIX 51101 Filter. These appear to be discontinued - in fact no listing - current WIX book only shows 57011. Are these same / equivalent? I had a problem with new WIX 57511 which is not same as 51111 it replaces. Any other suggestions or is 57011 a good choice? Thanks. Ed

51101 was superceded by 57011, same filter same quality. Watch out if you buy the Napa brand 7011 by Wix- they changed the design, but it didn't hold pressure so they changed it back, may still be a few out there though. If it has the plastic tube in the middle instead of the mesh and packing don't buy it.
