John, do they come with the old rims attached or have they been cut out? New blanks are easy to get but getting the old rails prepped is a job!

They are still attached to the old rims and I'm not sure how i could cut them off. I could try to take them off if there are any suggestions! I thought about buying a plain rim but I'm not sure I would be able to get the old rails transferred correctly!

John, I said that kind of as a tease. From a guy that has removed a set of rails and built a 'new' set of power adjust wheels, the rail removal is the WORST part of that job. The rest of it was fun.
I have more junk rims around here if I ever hit the time lottery I'll build a couple more sets. I hate to see that kind of stuff get scrapped out but completely understand when it does. |
