were i can get a new oil breather bowl for my allis chalmers c engine i was cleaning mine out today and held it up to the light only to see little pin holes where it has rotted out. should i just tuck a k&n oil air filter in the pipe under the hood off the breather? also do the original breathers really do good job my motor is brand new and want the best for it

My WC was like that after I got all the crud cleaned off. It has a coating of gas tank liner in it now and works fine.

I have soft soldered a few of them successfully. If you're careful, you'll never know it was done when you're finished.

Not sure if it will work but you might try the spray on rubber stuff. I've seen it on TV and similar stuff at Home Depot, made by Rust-O-leum".

I replaced the oil can filter with a K&N cartridge filter. I enclosed it in a metal container, (soup can), for protection. Since this is only my casual use tractor I have yet to change or clean the filter after about 2 years. Not original but practical. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

All C's originally hand the 2 snap clips for the bowl which is different than the ring clamp bowl.
