The recently(within the past couple days) published report linking glyphosate usage to several cancers?
From my understanding, the study was years long, and involved several countries and research facilities working in conjunction with each other. Unfortunately, I don’t have a link it, as of yet. The jist of the study basically concludes, that is the common belief of what the manufacturer and governments approved as ‘safe levels’ and practices of application, is way off.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I don't have a lot of faith in the chemical companies but less in the opposition.

I hear ya, Steve. From the long list of agencies, and groups conducting the study there were quite a few universities, and the they have been in bed with government and big business for a long, long time.

Have seen far too many people in flip flops and shorts spraying

We used to be assured that glyphosate was not much more harmful than dish detergent. I worked at a farm for a while where I did a lot of spraying of field edges, roadways, etc. I would get a condition called geographic tongue that seemed to be caused by glyphosate, I went to the doctor for it once and was told it was nothing to worry about.
I remember a few years back there was a big lawsuit, and one of the researchers from Washington State University stated that his research revealed no link to cancer at all, but did show genetic mutation in the second generation from exposure (grandchildren). He offered his study to Monsanto but they weren't interested. If I remember correctly this was just after they had been bought by Bayer. I'm not sure who I would trust anymore.

i think a lot depends on if your mixing and spilling it on your hands... rubbing your face with sweat and dirty hands.. standind down wind of the stuff, etc...

I have a 3 gallon sprayer and a 30 gallon.. Use the nozzles about 12 inches above the ground.. Pour the stuff in the  tank and then add water and try to get NOTHING on you.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

How chemicals were handled and concentration levels are huge factors. I remember back 50+ years ago, when we mixed powdered Lorox in a 300 gallon sprayer, pour a little in, stick your arm in up to the shoulder, mix until dissolved and repeat until all was in.
Maximum use of available resources!

The ambulance chasing TV lawyers have been all over than for about 20 years now.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
