I am in need of information on American Bosch PSB 6A injection pump.  It is giving troubles and I think I narrowed it down to the shaft that the governor linkage connects to in the shut off housing is sticking. This shaft is the one that sets the metering block for amount of fuel to go to main plunger. It is held by two screws. Seems that the primary pressure builds up and then forces the shaft outwards and binds it against snap ring inside...
Need to find out from some one if there is to much pressure inside pump or if something else is going wrong or the control shaft and sleeve might be worn out..  Or who still works on these pumps. Everybody I have talked to says they can't get any parts for these old injection pumps.
This injection pump is not on an Allis but on a Case "500" Diesel.   Thanks, JC

I have those AB PSB-6A's available. 3 pumps, selling as cores, $125 each. I can tear into any/all of them for $20/Hr to confirm condition of internals if so desired, prefer not to. Happy to send you 5-7 pages out of my old AC manual that has Operation/Disassembly/Install [ obviously, AC literature, not case ]

Dave Ferguson in Austin Mn is who you're looking for. He's getting old, but as far as I know he still has his pump shop. Ferguson's Diesel Service I think is his company name. He knows the PSB pump well.
