I have been trying to purchase an Allis Chalmers wagon running gear for years without any luck.  This month, I was able to purchased a New Idea running gear.  It is a 634 model 10 ton 8 hole hubs.  Electric Wheel Company [EWC] made the New Idea gear.  In my process of cleaning it up & restoring it, I have searched the internet about EWC.  In that search, I have found that EWC built their own wagon gears, plus built them for the following brands:

Allis Chalmers
Montgomery Wards
Sears (David Bradley)
New Idea
Massey Ferguson
Oliver
IHC
Dakon

I am thinking this is all of the associated brands with EWC?  Does anyone else know of more brands that also had build agreements with EWC?  Who carries parts for these wagon running gears?  Does Balsters in Scotch Grove, Ia still carry parts for these?  I have tried to call Balsters, but get a busy signal.  I am looking for the one piece front tie rod, threaded cast ends of the tie rod, & extendable hitch (tongue) assembly.  I am also considering upgrading to 11R22.5 wheels.

Still learning..  What brand is the running gear in this picture?

Check the wheel hubs, there should be an EWC cast into them somewhere.  The tongue and stops resemble my Allis gears.
Farm and Fleet has the bearings used by EWC, because some of the Kory wagon gears used EWC hubs at least, and may even have been built by EWC.  Check out their tie rods, may be the same as EWC.
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

If you are still interested in an AC gear, I saw one at Meyers Implement in Elkhart, IN in the fall. They used to close for the winter, but here is their number if you are interested (574) 294-1008. I have dealt with them on and off for many years and have always been happy.

A closer examination of the wagon gear in picture shows "Harvest Trial" on rear frame.  So, Im thinking it was offered by Rural King, TSC, Big R, Farm&Fleet stores?
