This much info is documented. In 1930, the AC United was tested at Nebraska. The serial number of that tractor was 946. The test was conducted from October 21 thru November 7, 1929. So, that's getting close to the end of the year. There were 1974 tractors built that year. I'm not sure how many of them were United's, but I don't think they all were. I've seen a U with a serial number around 1500 that is original. It doesn't have United on the radiator tank.

My dad's has the United on the front and is U 25-1 just in front of the shifter.
He passed away, and we are trying to find the value. Jay |

I believe that U25-1 is a casting # and not a serial #. Same as on the UC's.

I have a 1929 model that is serial number 376 and it does not have United on it. It is my understanding that they were built both ways in 1929 and 1930.

Restored is a loaded term. Only the guy who "restored" it knows what was done. Pressure wash and paint is restored to a lot of people. Some restore a tractor in a weekend and others spend countless hours and money on it that they will never get back when selling it.

Pictures and location of the tractor would help out alot. Might help determine a value better.
