Is this a bush hog type mower? In any event, if you can get measurements, Agrisupply.com may be able to get them...

Take the blade and bushing to your supplier, and he can give you a part number for the replacement. You won't find it with the Allis part number, unless it's at an AGCO dealer. |

I'm not sure how things are in Indiana, but here in New Yorkistan I got QUITE the surprise when I went to replace a blade on my old Woods M72-2 mower... "Sorry sir, we can only sell them in sets now, so that'll be $176..."
Left there went to another, same issue only $174 lol... Wised up and called around instead of burning fuel, yep, nobody selling single blades anymore. Except TSC, and why of course they didn't have the right one for my mower. FOUR TCS's in my area and not one had any in stock or was even able to look it up by make/model or part number. But come to think of it, I even called German-Bliss in Illinois and they said no longer single blade sales, either. Maybe I'm late to the party but I used to be able to buy just one blade when I broke one. I can see the potential for vibration, but - meh. Anyways, not sure if it's that way all over but I was surprised. FWIW. |

I need more than 200 characters for my "signature." I'd love to see that changed to 250!

Could it be that if one were to put one new blade on with one old very worn down blade the mower then would be out of balance ?

Sure thing, I wasn't overlooking that. But I did omit that the salesman/counter guy at one supply store said "that's the only way it's allowed in NY now."
To be clear, I WILL get a set of two when I'm ready (snow's here now lol) to buy, makes better sense in the end. I think there's enough other stuff to cause damaging vibration, no sense adding to it. My intent was to inform so the OP or others wouldn't have the same sticker shock reaction that I did lol ![]() |

Hmmm... Does Agco sell the blades for the AC 160 rotary mower? Or Agri Supply? I seem to recall there's some oddity with the blade offset...

If you get the measurements, and go to agrisupply, and they have something close, then you can ask them for the part #, so you can double-check. then you have the part number to google, and find out more info...
