I believe the IB Battery box was the same as the WC box. Normally it was mounted on the left rear fender, but with the different attachments that the IB was available with, the box was mounted in numerous places. My IB box was mounted on the right frame rail in front of the right rear fender. My IB was equipped with a sickle bar mower originally....HTH

I bought my box from Tony's tractors, mounted on right frame rail. The rear fender mounting brackets were gone on mine so I welded the wd fender plates onto the rear of the frame rail. The correct police may not approve but it ended up looking good IMHO. They are solid and and did bot require patching in the fender. You will need to flatten out the raised section on the  lower front part of the fender.

Here's a pic of my IB with the Battery box on the right side frame rail where it was when I bought it. I added a Battery shut off switch along with an hour meter. Totally optional tho for those items. My better half at the wheel.

hi steve, mine had a sickle bar mower on it and the box wouldnt work on that side. nice tractor!!!!!
