Hi all just manged  to pick up a Allis G engine i do not know if it is a runner but it is free i payed $270.00 is that to much. i hope to convert my G back to original at the moment it has a diesel engine.

My opinion...
Before you go buy new tires and tubes, solidly block it up and get her running ! Check out tranny,steering ,clutch,electrical,etc.
..hate to see you drop $400-$600 (??) in tires and tubes on a DOA(Dead On Axles) 'project'.
Also...you could patch the tubes and run on baldies while 'restoring' it..
