I would like to know what model plow is on my Allis G. The moldboard has the number 309244 on the back. Will a 70308863 plowshare fit it? |

My book's index shows 309244 on two pages, but there's no moldboard number on the pages for the #54 bottom. The other bottom is a 124 with welded draw rod bracket and welded frog. The 309244 moldboard is used for 12 and 14" right hand plows. My book shows 308863 (modern numbers add the 70 prefix) is a solid steel share for 12" 124 bottom. Solid steel it says. Chilled iron would be 308866, soft center steel would be 308860. I rather doubt you'd want a 14" share on the G.
