Can anyone tell what a Allis Chalmers 1500A Diesel engine was used in? It was used in 1985 but I couldn't find anything else about it on the internet.

It's on a sale bill and that was the information they gave, I'm assume it's incorrect?

I went back and checked and that's correct description, it also listed a serial number of 3D67179.

Got a picture?  Might be a jap diesel, for a compact tractor, or half of a 3000, for some special purpose...

3D67179 is a 3500 series.....a 426.
