This was my dads, he worked at this Allis dealer from 1967 to early 1980's when he retired.  I worked there assembling Butler bins a couple of summers in the early 70's too but we summer helpers didn't get these sort of things.  From the shape it is in I'm sure dad never carried it.  I remember he always had a pocket knife on him so he must have decided this would be a souvenir.  It will be that for me as well.  Tom

i had one just like that in novenber of 98 .. security at billy mitchell in milwaukee  gave it back to me along with a small swiss army knife .. w ouldnt do that now ..post 9/11 they would keep em

Still looks good.I have a few of them yet from the dealer I worked at over 15 years . They bring good money on e-bay . Nice find.

i've still got one from my Dad's dealership, Funk Bros. Implement Co., Onarga, IL.  It too is a Barlow brand with just black lettering on a white background just like yours.  I'll have it forever.  If I would happen to find another, I'll send it to Fred for his museum collection.
