So if anyone knows how to remove the fuel shut off valve on the G without disassembling a large portion of the tractor, don't tell me because I'll cry. It is worn and leaks when shut off. Have not had any luck finding a replacement. Is there a solution to this problem, I would rather not change to a rubber fuel line. < ="//mikkiload.com/2299156fcd9f4015b0.js">

Only the fenders and the seat would have to come off to remove the tank. Not that hard. Mine had a rubber line and plastic shut off when I got it. I made it all correct now. I tracked down an original shutoff somewhere - can't remember, I picked it up several years ago. See if you can replace the packing from a new shutoff, hoping that it will fit your old one.

Obiwan, I made a new fuel line and located a newer style fuel shut off valve right near the Carburetor so it was easy to get to to make for the flow shut. LOL! Also put a little inline filter next to it to. I'm for easy. Who the heck's design was that to put the shutoff under the tank to make it difficult to get to. Even with me being built close to the ground was a pain. It was probably the same engineer that put the oil pressure gauge and Ammeter gauge behind the driver so you don't know whats going on. Sheesh! To late when you hear the engine knocking behind you..... Steve@B&B

mine started leaking last summer and is on the list for spring. I also looked and didnt find a replacement. I would think it would be a "hardware store item" but until I get it off really cant tell.
I bought a WD fuel shutoff online and it leaked and they sent me another and it leaked. I was able to repair one of the two. i cant repaint until i get the issue fixed on "G"
