Your correct! I think he put decimal points in wrong place ) D-21's are valuable but not that valuable. And value is going up on them. We were offered $25,000.00 for ours, and we had about that invested in it, but we wouldn't sell it, as it has family ties! And if you buy common one and totally restore it, you'll have near that in one, or more if you have to hire some work done. We did everything but the painting & chrome on this one. Ours is pictured below at local show this summer.

I HOPE they meant to type $10,500.  But you never know.

I counted 8 in a row and was told the same guy brought 8 D21's and a D19 all the way from Colorado. Glad I don't have his fuel bill.

CTucker, the first 6 D-21's were all owned by the family from Colorado, the other 2 were owned by 2 other owners.  The family from Colorado did indeed bring a D-19 D along with, and they also took a WD-45 D home with them that they had purchased in the swap meet.  The owner of the 6 D-21's also had 2 more at home in the restoration process.

Anyone know the name of the owner of the D 21's in Colorado?  To tell you the truth, I have never seen a D21, except at Hutch.  There is no place in Colorado more then 400 miles from me, sure a lot closer then Minn.

Here is the kicker, the guys from Co. had never heard of the Hutch show until last year. They thought they might try it out. I have an idea they will be back.  Dave.

I heard the same that he has 3 1/2 more to restore. We stayed in the same hotel in Litchfield Minnesota as him. Told me his youngest son and him are hoping to restore a WC they bought also. I thought they had an amazing collection. Blake
