Does anyone have a copy of the Milwaukee journal December 7, 1985 with the full report of the closing of AC? I've looked on line trying to find one but no luck. I was hoping to read the whole article. Thanks!

Milwaukee public library and the University of Wisconsin library would have microfilm of that paper. It used to be available on Google, but the Journal-Sentinel requested it be removed.

I saw a picture of the article in Norm Swinfords book. On a whim, I called the Journal Sentinel. They said an issue that old would be archived in the public library. Called the library, they pulled the paper, took pictures of the article, emailed them to me, and charged me $5 in good faith. I paid them, then took the pictures to OfficeMax and had them blown up to poster size. Framed them and hung them up behind my bar downstairs. Turned out really neat.

Actually they mailed me regular paper copies. I think it was the picture of the West Allis Works I got off the internet and had blown up to poster size.
