Maybe similar to a NASCAR windshield tear-off, for when you want to see out front . . . .

If you are going to build a cab, why not make it two stories...?

The big question is how much higher does it go?  Couldn't fit it all in frame!

Last one, I want to see what the fella looks like that can drive this rig!  LOL

Great stuff!  Thank you for posting!

What if the cab did double duty, and was also used as a tree stand for deer hunting.  lol

So what was the true purpose??? Wonder if they used this in a stationery position using just the PTO/ belt pulley (although not one in pic).  Has me curious as to why someone would build something with windows so high (though it looks like a board can be removed that would enable the driver to see) and the contraption so big.  Maybe just bad designer and carpentry...….

I don't think it was ever used for anything!  The 'cab' is just setting on there and held on with ratchet straps. The tractor was obviously never running recently.
