Just got an allis chalmers b few weeks ago cranks and runs fine in all 3 gears. Came w woods belly mower seems all bearings and pully wheels good, with pto on tractor gets pretty weak.
Also it has a small hydraulic ram and a center link welded in but rest of 3pt is missing.
So last week I tested the hydraulics and they worked fine. I made a chain loop to the lift and it lifted me 175lbs and stayed up fine no bleed down until I push down. So all was good.

Today I started to fab lift arms. Really want to be able to at least use small scrape blade. But I tested the hydraulic today rigged it to lift the small blade I can barely lift it by hand so it can’t weigh more than me.
NOTHING no lift it won’t even lift me now. Only goes up with no weight on it and I can push it back down with my hand.
Checked the fluid, Its full but it’s gear oil I can smell it. But not sure.
Y’all recon I should change the fluid first. Then go from there.
I don’t have a manual
But I see 3 drain plugs and the large fill plug. What else should I know?
Thanks

You probably should've put your post in the Farm Equipment catagory. This is for Garden Tractors. You'll get a better response back over there.  I can't help ya with an answer, but the other guys can.
