likely a bad cooler in the lower radiator tank.

Question is, water or coolant?  Coolant is death on engine bearings, frankly I don't know about roller bearings.

If it has two hydraulic lines in and out of bottom of radiator it has a transmission cooler that can leak coolent into transmission.   MACK

Sorry Keith, I wasn't trying to suggest anything was in the engine, just referencing how bad coolant is on engine bearings, but I didn't know how bad it affected roller bearings, typical of the transmission bearings.
