I’m getting 220 lbs on the high side and 250 on the low side if I bypass the linkage in the cab. Where does the pressure leak by internally? These numbers were at 1000 rpm.

220-250 not too far off. Add a couple of shims.

Are you saying less pressure with lever in detent?    MACK

Yes. The linkage in the console has some slop. The linkage under the cab is new.

Fixing the slop in the linkage could help before you adjust the shims.  I had much better control of my power director after fixing all the wear points on my 190XT.

the power director valve has a internal spring loaded valve that sometimes does not travel far enough to get pressure, it could just need cleaning up. slide valve out and use some real fine emery cloth to shine spool up so it slides freely in bore and try that.

You have to have it at 1800 rpms for a good clear hyd pressure reading,, use a vise grips on the control valve and watch the pressure gauge as you move it , then adjust the linkage acordinly,, they usually leak internally with O rings inside and 200,s are bad for broken clutch discs in Powerdirectors ,,

Doug, why are the 200's bad for broken discs? I remember doing one way back when I worked at the Allis dealer. The splines wear worn bad on one of the inner hubs and it busted out the splined teeth on the plates. The shop foreman walked me through the repair and if I remember correctly he said he'd seen that happen on more than one 200 but 190's were better.

Also I remember repairing a 200 that had a loose gear on the clutch shaft in the torque tube and IIRC he said that was fairly common on the 200 too but not so much on the 190.

Just some thoughts from the few years I spent at the Allis dealership.

Whenever replacing Power Director clutch discs in a 180 thru 200, always use 70261212 discs from a 7000 tractor. You will NEVER break any of those. That was a standard thing for my shop whenever one was split. Just replace them and never work on the Power Director again.

I have removed all the slop from the linkage and adjusted so that the pressure readings in high and low at equal. I now have 260 on both sides in detent. The only “shims” I have are washers that are .030 thick. This is a late serial 200 also.

I added a .040 shim to the priority valve. I now have 280 lbs on both sides.

I don't have my Service Book in front of me, but a 200 with hydraulic PTO should be around 325 ish I think ?? Shimming at the Power Director valve.

My book says 270-300. It’s not a hydraulic PTO.

Entitled: I checked the book again. Is says 255-280.
