I have an CA that will cost too much to restore and I'm looking at a nice C, Is it possible to put the wide front off the CA onto the C?  Also is it possible to convert the C into a CA with the CA parts?

Thanks

What parts would you convert if the CA is too far gone to fix? You could split them at the tranny and bolt the two halves together but that's probably about it.

Engine is toast, wheels and tires are shot .  Tranny is free but all pedals froze up, tin is shot.  I know the C is a 3 speed and the CA is a 4 speed... doesn't matter to me much. Do the axles and housing interchange so I can have the Live pto?  The C has 5 bolt rear rims and the CA has 6.  Any info you can tell me would greatly be appreciated before I go buy this C.

Thanks

We put a CA tranny in my son's C. The plates holding the differential bearings and seals had to be ground off about a sixteenth inch for the C finals to slide over. The tranny input shaft is longer and the torque tube shaft shorter, so they have to be paired up.
