In my Allis G Parts Manual, all the bolts are identified by part number. Is there any cross reference from bolt part number to bolt size?

I bought an Allis-Chalmers "Dealer Parts Catalog and Numerical Index for Standard Parts" a few years ago on e-bay. It is an interesting book which has pictures and descriptions of all sorts of standard hardware used on A-C machines with the corresponding A-C part numbers. Examples: bolts, nuts, washers, rivets, keys,, setscrews, pipe fittings, hose fittings and tubing fittings. If you can give me the part number of your bolt, I should be able to give you it's standard description.

Thanks for the info. I wouldn't want to trouble you every time I needed a bolt size. With the information you have provided, I have found a copy of the parts catalog you mentioned
Thanks |
