So i just got this 49 B and am working on restoring it. I have 62 cultivator and a single plow. I got the back of the plow mounted but cannot figure out the front. The parts books call for an anchor plate and hammer strap but in searching this site and others i see no pictures of this anchor plate....so below are pics including a picture of some mounting frame on the front right wheel axle that i have no clue what it could be used for!

Not sure what the terminology is, but you reverse the curved drawbar, it mounts to the 2 bolt holes, in each final drive, then there is a part up front, that has a lever with notches, on it, to control the depth setting, IIRR...

Resized to 640 x 480 so I can see it all at once.

Sorry about the pic size.  I'll address that next time I post :)

So do I need a drawbar to connect the plow or are you saying that I simply bolt those two bars that rotate on the cross bar directly to the final drives?  they each have one hole in the end that is not threaded.

Also I don't have a hand lift, just hte hydralics.  On the front under the brakes there are two bars that turn with the shaft.  One has a bar that goes back to the hyralic ram (currently disconnected).  I did not think I needed it connected for the plow.  Here are pics:

You can usually find them on eBay if a forum member does not respond.  One set is listed now.

Thank you.  As far as I can tell they should look like the first picture below right?  I found the ones in the second picture on ebay.  Do you think they would work even though they do not have a sleeve for the plow bar to go into?  Thanks again for all your help.

Usually what happens is that they stay on the tractor and when the plow is sold they forget to include them.
I remember when we traded in equipment that we had to be certain we took the connector off the final drives for the plow.
Looks like you have an excellent B.  Thank you for taking such good care of my favorite.
Good Luck!

Thanks Bill!  I am getting it together bit by bit...i had a line on a complete two way plow setup with all mounting hardware and lever for $100 on craigslist but it was sold before I could get there!  I'll keep looking.  I still have time before spring.
