Have a B with the wishbone front end.  Appears there's one key bolt that allows the axle to pivot.  Pretty significant crack in the top part of it.  Considering re-welding it but probably best to just replace it.  Anyone done this before?  Looks straight forward.
Any idea what the part number is for that bolt or where to source?
Thanks. Scott

I have never seen a bolt / pin cracked.. Have seen massive wear... I have a couple Bs that have a steel pin and cotter pin to hold in.. Not sure if pin or bolt was original. ... I have used a piece of cold rolled steel to replace.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

apparently it was ORIGINALLY a PIN that was welded to the plate... Washer and cotter pin on the other end.

Yep, that's it Steve.  I have 2 B's....one of them it has a really good weld.  The other, the weld is breaking away and looks as though the pin is cracked and/or bent.  WOuldn't be a fun day if it were to break and drop out!
I think it's just a 3" or so bolt in length and 1" in diameter....but would really like to have one ready before I start jacking it up in the air to replace.
