Does anyone have a picture of the hydraulic pump driveline? It looks like power goes all the way through to the rear then drops down and goes back forward. Tractor is being stripped for pulling. The pto clutches are no longer necessary but obviously the hydraulic pump is.

The hydraulic pump(s) drive shaft is driven by the front gear on the PTO clutch shaft. So, the only parts you can do without would be the lower dual speed shafts and maybe strip down the PTO clutch shaft itself. What weight class are you trying to get down to ?? A hydraulic pump for power steering and Power Director clutches and wheel brakes could be engineered and gear driven off the engine like a D-21/210/220 or even belt driven off the crank pulley.

9500 is a common weight class around me. it's somewhere around 10,000 as it sits. There is still quite a bit that can be done. Stripping down the shaft as you mentioned might be the most practical solution. I'm intrigued by the idea of adding a completely different pump though too.
