There is an Allis 200 with a cab on the Madison WI craigslist for $5600. Looks good in the pics. Just posting in case someone is interested. Tom

DougG--I'm not bashing the tractor. In fact it looks pretty darn good. With no AC it is mostly a cold/cool weather tractor which is fine for a lot of jobs just not for making hay in HOT summertime. The top link is no big deal unless you want original AC then it could be tough to find. It would be nice to have more info about it---s/n,hrs,pto type, ect. Are those cab mounts for a LaPorte cab I see on each side of it?

I’m not seeing the front weights. Paid $150 for my AC top link for my 190XT that actually came off a 200 in a salvage yard in NC. Front tires figure about $300. Looks like a nice survivor really.

Comparing the two his is defiantly worth the extra.  Rarely do you save any money buying a cheap tractor and fixing it up over buying a good one to begin with. Sometimes finances make you buy the cheaper one but with time the little things add up fast. Tom
