hopefully you guys can help me a little. i recently brought home a front end loader that i plan to put on one of my 109xt's. i was wondering if anyone knew if there were taps that i could hook into for a live hyd feed and return without using the 2 hyd remotes the loader was mounted in a ford and was mot tied through the remotes and has it's own control valves. any info will help.

You would have to install a valve with power beyond in the line between the pump and the existing remote valve (in series). An additional return line from the new valve to the reservoir is needed.

We went to the hyd valves and put a t fitting where there is a L fitting than ran the hoses along the right side with some shut offs so you could lock the loader in up possition and still use the rear remotes Niel

I went as far as to break the union under my 180 and set it up as power beyond for a loader control valve as I also wanted live loader and two remotes.

easiest way is to remove the line from fitting on the hyd pump that supplies the remotes. Then run and minimum 5/8" hose to the inlet of the joystick or loader valve INLET. Then run a hose from the POWER BEYOUND fitting on the loader valve back to the line on the pump you just disconnected. THEN remove the drain plug pipe thread under the suction sump and install a return line from there to the out or tank port on the loader valve.
This will not heat the oil or restrick anything or pressurize the seals on the loader valve when the tractor remotes are used. Also the length of hoses acts as a slight radiator effect as a hyd oil cooler.

I would have to agree with tbran's method. Very important that you have the power beyond port on the loader control valve stack and plumb it exactly the way tbran has described. Don't ask me how I know. Darrel

The only way to make it truly independant from the remotes is to add another pump.
Adding a power beyond valve is as close as it gets. This the same as adding 2 more remotes.
