Our car club at Awaba NSW Australia has an Oz built Allis Chalmers dd grader. We have had the roosa master pump serviced, but part of our diagnosos we removed the timing cover and have lost any reference to where the pump timing gear engages. Any help tracking down a manual or where to find the pump gear timing reference marks would be greatly appreciated.
Looking over here and other forums the oz manufactured grader may have the 262 6cyl diesel. The timing dot on the pump gear shaft and the roosa master timing window have been pointed out to us.Not sure if it is as simple as lining up TDC and installing the pump gear so all the alignment marks on the pump are true or do we have to install the gear and pump at a timing reference before TDC ?
