Where is a good one that will fit and what kind of price? I have a pretty new seat so maybe just the air suspension is all I need. Thanks

K and M manufacturing has a nice conversion for the 7000 series. I have one in the 7060 and one in the 7080. These were spring ride suspensions. I put my luxury seat on top of them. HTH, Mike

I have the K&M in my 7060 and it's not hard to install. I used the spring system.

I wonder if you could go to a semi tractor boneyard and find an air ride seat that would fit.

I have a air ride seat on my ZTR mower and love it. I know that John deere and Case IH also sell these seats for use on their tractors also. www.etairride.com   They are in New Bremen Ohio

With my back trouble I think I'd like to try an air ride seat. I wonder if a truck seat will fit and still look good? I'll take a look at that site Steve. Thanks.

I think you will still want the K&M kit to "level" the slanted back of the cab and then you can mount almost any seat. Just Google K&M seats and they have a catalog that shows pictures. Without it the seat would be to close to the steering wheel. If you go the truck seat route I'm not sure a high back seat would work.

Both K & M  and HY-CAPACITY  have air ride and mechanical seat suspensions . Keep in mind that air ride will add $$ to the cost.

Alright, I bought a seat and mounting parts from K&M. Does anyone have close up pictures of how the adapter bolts up to the slanted part of the cab. I have the adapter but none of the bolts line up. I'm wondering if they gave me the wrong parts. I also bought a CaseIH air suspension that was about $300 less than K&M so I may have to make a plate to go from the adapter pedestal to the suspension but first I need to know how this adapter mounts to the tractor. I thought it was going to be a simple bolt in project. K&M had an adapter plate to mount their seat to the Case suspension.
