"Orange don't mean squat to us" I think that's what they said.

That's what it was. They had a whole website dedicated to the orange tractor under that slogan.

The early CEO's of AGCO embraced the Allis Chalmers heritage. The one they got now wants nothing to do with it. His slogan should be my way or the highway.

Wow! I would've loved to see their website with that slogan and them embracing the orange tractors. Unfortunately at that time, I didn't know AGCO tractors were still in production. (Remember, I was walking in a tunnel of green, eyes on nothing but the A-C at the end of the tunnel!) In other words, if it wasn't REAL Allis, I didn't pay much attention to it.

Their slogan now is "Your Agriculture Company".
It should be "Go Massey or Die: just like our AGCO tractors, and soon to be Gleaner"

When the DT B series came out they started to push the orange then all of a sudden it was decided to drop orange tractors. I wrote Bob Crain about it and he did write me back. Around the time that dropping the orange tractors they switched from having old Marty in Agco Advantage magazine to Bob. I'll see if I can find that letter, I know I still got it. Also wrote Marty after that, I think twice. Got nothing back.

Well boy you have to think about it under the agco family there is fendt, fella, and valtra the CEO looks at them and along with the others and thinks they don't care about where the company roots are at, but some people care the American farmer who use the equipment daily and all the former workers who spent there time making the brand what it is for it all it be flushed down the drain one day.
