I picked up a new AGCO oil filter for my WD and it has the allis chalmers name and logo on it. last years filter had the AGCO logo on it.  And they are made in the USA.
The universal answer to all questions is yes, how much do you want to spend?

Your oil filter is a 70240912V heritage and will have the ALLIS CHALMERS name on it . For the AGCO name on the oil filter you will want part # 70240912.

I just got some and the ones with AC on them were the bad filters, had to get the AGCO ones to get the good sock filter, thats what the parts man showed me and he was an older guy who knew of some of there  previus problems, they were also $20 bucks apiece, need to ask them about that as they mailed them and just saw the bill yesterday.

I only paid $10.00 for mine. That seemed fair to me to support Agcos heritage line. What is wrong with these filters Jim that I dont know about?? Anytime I can get factory parts for a 50++ year old tractor I think thats great. Ryan

The parts man show me the AC ones and they didn,t have the sock type lining, won,t hold oil pressure, found this out in 2004 when we redid my WD and my neighbors D14, didn,t know they even made that style anymore.

I have the Allis Chalmers logos on my 426 engine in my 21's, but it is the AGCO ones for the fuel filter. Looks real good on there.

Take care, Darryl
