What's the good, the bad, and the ugly on a AA 8775? Looking at a low hours 2wd model to plant and cut hay.

We bought a new 8785 in 1998 have over 7500 hours on it now. Very dependable tractor with not to much trouble. Ours has the Sisu 404 cu in engine which has stood up very well. They are 100 per cent Massey painted Allis orange. My mechanic told me that engine should last 10000 hours without overhauls if taken care of. Has the Dyna 4 transmission which is pretty trouble free. It will all depend on how your tractor has been treated. I'm particular a lot of folks aren't.

I have a 2000 year 8785 AA with the 5.9 Cummins and 32 speed transmission 4wd and I love it. Best chore tractor ever. Bought a RT115 that is the 2001 year model equipped the same. Not sure what engine the 8775 has but both are good motors.  Have used some Red and  Green of the 100+ hp and would not trade mine. Only troubles I have had were with hydraulic solenoids.  Doyle

Has anyone had a problem with their 8775 where it was running fine parked it and shut it down then go back 2 hrs later, start it up and have a warning light showing transmission pressure light. Now my Hydraulics and transmission are dead. Need ideas on where to start looking, thanks.

Welcome to the forum Steve. You might have better luck if you start a new post over in the farm equipment section with your question. Good luck
