Great news, the hydraulic line came in and I was able to start the reborn 160 this evening after work. After priming the hydraulic pump with Lucas oil stabilizer as the local AGCO dealer instructed me to do, I primed the fuel system. Once I did that I pulled the fuel shut off and turned the engine over to check the oil pressure. Gauge went 3/4 up the scale of the new 80 psi AC gauge. Great oil pressure within a few rotations of the engine. Pushed the fuel shut off in and turned the key. I don't even think it spun over a quarter turn and she fired right up.
Runs very smooth, quiet valve train and I’m guessing 75 PSI while running. After about a minute I tested the PS and hydraulics and both performed as expected. 3 point raises and lowers as it should although I did not have an implement on it yet but I’m satisfied at this point. More testing to do but I’m very pleased at this point.

Well, after several delays of my own doing, the 160 hit the field for 6 hours this afternoon mowing hay. What a sweet 40 hp tractor. Ran our 456 NH sickle mower on her, varied rpm 1500-1700. Engine and both clutches performed extremely well. I know it’s only 6 hours of field time but it was money well spent. I saved this one from a possible scrap yard. Too rare of a machine to see it go away and never do work again. Engine ran 75 psi and 40 psi at idle.
