I didn't know A-C made the Model B with a diesel engine. Just saw an advertisement sheet for it on eBay for sale in Greece. Tractor was made in Great Britain according to the ad.

Jim,  We sold the B for the life of the unit in Maryland.  Diesel was not an option.
However, as Richard says the B made in England has a diesel engine.
If you get it take good care of my favorite.
Good Luck!

The British B went through a series of upgrades to compete with the 'Grey Menace' from Harry Ferguson. Soon the 1950's British, Commonwealth and European markets wanted more power, three-point linkage and faster road speeds. The model B was beginning to look outdated.

The Standard British model B had an up-rated CE petrol/paraffin engine. Allis-Chalmers UK looked at several Diesel options for the B even including a V-Twin Turner engine, but went with the Perkins 3 cylinder as the most sensible choice. The slow 3 speed gearbox was later replaced with a 4 speed transmission and a basic three-point linkage became an option too. That's why later English B's had metal pan seats, because their wasn't room to have the bench seat and the top link for the three point on the tractor.
